Course Outline

Session 1 — Understanding What's Happening to You

We begin by normalising menopausal anxiety and removing fear.

You'll learn why anxiety increases in menopause and why this is a physiological response — not a personal failing.

For many women, this session alone brings immense relief.


Session 2 — The Nervous System & Safety

Anxiety cannot settle until the body feels safe.

This session helps you understand your nervous system, recognise when you're in fight-or-flight, and begin creating internal safety.

You'll leave with simple tools that work in real moments of anxiety.


Session 3 — Calming Anxiety in the Moment

We focus on what helps when anxiety hits.

You'll learn how to interrupt spirals, calm physical symptoms, and shorten anxiety episodes — without suppressing or fighting them.

This is practical, usable support for everyday life.


Session 4 — Thoughts, Fear & Emotional Spirals

Anxious thoughts often follow physical anxiety — not the other way around.

This session gently untangles fear-based thinking patterns and helps you respond to your thoughts with clarity rather than panic.

Session 5 — Sleep, Stimulation & Recovery

Poor sleep worsens anxiety — and anxiety disrupts sleep.

We focus on restoring rest, evening down-regulation, night-time anxiety and waking with a calmer baseline.

Small changes here often bring big shifts.


Session 6 — Boundaries, Overwhelm & Emotional Load

Menopause often reveals how much you've been holding for years.

This session explores emotional labour, people-pleasing and over-functioning — and how to reduce overwhelm without guilt.


Session 7 — Rebuilding Emotional Confidence

Anxiety can knock your confidence and self-trust.

This session helps you reconnect with your inner steadiness, rebuild confidence in your emotional resilience, and stop fearing anxiety itself.


Session 8 — Living Calmly in a Demanding World

We bring everything together into a sustainable way forward.

You'll leave with:

  • Early signs of nervous system overload

  • Personal regulation tools that work for you

  • A realistic plan for maintaining calm

  • Trust in your ability to cope, even when life is busy
