
Menopause & Yoga Retreat
Join us this November, for a gentle, seven-night retreat in a traditional village house in the hills of the 'Suisse Normande', in Normandy, France.

With just seven spaces, this is an intimate, cosy week designed for women navigating perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
Each day (excluding travel days) offers two nurturing sessions of gentle, meditative yoga alongside uplifting, supportive group sessions led by me, Rachael Godfrey — menopause coach and speaker. Together, we'll blend evidence-based education with honest conversations and light group coaching, where every question is welcome and every voice matters, creating space for calm reflection, connection, and meaningful learning.
I aim for you to leave each session feeling heard, clear, and confident with practical next steps.
The weeks yoga sessions are lead by renowned yoga teacher, Kate Pryor. With 30 years experience you are in safe hands.
"I am trained in Satyananda yoga, a deeply restorative tradition from Bihar, India. Our sessions weave together gentle asana (physical poses), calming pranayama (breathwork) and relaxing yoga nidra (meditation) — all designed to support your nervous system, hormones and energy.
For the hour and half morning session I work with one asana at a time, allowing you to discover what your body is able to do and gently easing into the pose. This gives plenty of time and space to listen to your body, move with your breath, and reconnect with yourself. Each session ends wrapped in a blanket, sinking into deep relaxation.
In the 45 minute evening session there will be some more gentle asana practise followed by yoga nidra. It is a meditation but you don't have to "do" anything, or even try to concentrate. The yoga nidra will guide you into a state of profound calm, allowing your body to reset, repair and heal itself more effectively.

More than anything, this week is about women spending time with women, talking about women's things in the way we do best – honestly, gently and with a lot of heart.
In the quiet of this small group, there's room for the conversations that don't fit into a rushed appointment or a busy day, and for the kind of connection that can feel sacred in midlife.
There is also plenty of free time to walk in the Normandy hills, curl up in front of the log fires with a good book, or visit nearby towns abundant in history.

Prices start from just £925 per person.
All accommodation, sessions and meals are included.
Meals are wholesome, balanced, and menopause-friendly, featuring simple, nutritious dishes.*
Whilst we serve wine with dinner and lunch there is a full range of non-alcoholic drinks and hot drinks available too.

To secure your place a £250 non refundable deposit is required at time of booking
Balance is payable 8 weeks before the retreat start date
Spaces are limited to 7 women to keep the retreat supportive, personal and relaxed.
